This sub-series includes all moving image materials that are part of the Driskell Papers. These materials focus on African and African American art, but particularly on films with which David C. Driskell appeared in, produced, or otherwise worked on as well as raw footage that captures lectures or interviews with Prof. Driskell himself. Though many of the films came with little information about what is on them, due diligence was taken to get that information through research on what we were provided. Due to space constraints, any 8mm film reels in this collection were are processed chronologically, but they are housed in the Oversize Moving Images Drawer. DVDs and Betacam videos were also too big to fit in their correct location, so they are located at the end of the series in Box 8.
