Description |
Bronze bust of American singer and actress Ethel Waters. The portrait is naturalistic and symmetrical but has a slightly rough, unfinished quality. Her expression is solemn and her eyes gaze left. Her hair is very short and close to her head. The bronze sculpture is atop a black metal base. "Antonio Salemme" and "1/12" are marked at the base of the neck on verso. |
