Description
This gallery contains one binder created by Faith Ringgold which features 79 images her drawings on paper from 1966-2014. The drawings are mostly black and white images of paintings such as "Die" and "Jo Baker's Birthday" and children's books such as "Bonjour Lonnie," "Invisible Princess," "Bronzeville Boys and Girls," and "Harlem Renaissance Party." Highlights include a folder that contains various sketches by Ringgold. One notebook in particular called "Jazz Book #1 Rollins at the Harms" contains drawings that may have been early drafts of the Jazz Story Book.
